Visitors already in the United States can still purchase a standard health insurance that covers new medical conditions and accidents. NC Advocates for Justice Leader Appointed to State’s Impaired Driving Task Force

The 30-person task force will review existing North Carolina data, laws, regulations, and programs and develop a statewide impaired driving plan to provide a comprehensive strategy for preventing and reducing impaired driving behavior. North Carolina is required to submit a statewide impaired driving plan to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The Governor has appointed individuals from a variety of transportation and law enforcement backgrounds and disciplines. Bill Powers has been named Best Lawyers’ “Lawyer of the Year” 2013 for Charlotte DUI/DWI Defense. He is also a General Member of the National College of DUI Defense, Inc and a board certified Criminal Law Specialist. He serves as Vice President of Communications on NCAJ’s Executive Committee.
