Payday.net Introduces Article Dealing With Lending Policies

Payday.net

(PRWEB) May 18, 2012

To expand its collection of informative articles about payday loans, Payday.net has launched a new online resource with the title “Policy on Responsible Lending.” The site is offering the material with the idea that consumers searching for cash advances should be aware of the policies that will influence the contracts of loan lenders. With this information in hand, prospective loan borrowers can ensure that lenders are following the regulations set down by entities such as the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

“Payday.net strives continually to ensure consumer protection by providing the knowledge necessary for consumers to make informed financial decisions,” says Payday.net spokesperson Chuck Harrison. “Numerous articles detailing the benefits and requirements of a payday loan as well as the security of the application process help us make sure that individuals know that they are able to borrow our loans safely and with complete confidence.”

Payday.net’s “Policy on Responsible Lending” article covers the ins and outs of policies such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, which prohibits lenders from using deceptive or abusive methods of collecting debt from consumers. The page also covers the Truth in Lending Act, which requires lenders to disclose details of their loan contracts, and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act, which entitles consumers to nondiscriminatory access to bad credit payday loans. Information on state lending regulations also appears in the new content.

Since 1998, Payday.net has made it a priority to help financially troubled American families and individuals find the payday loans they need to cover emergency expenses. Rather than directly provide funds to those in tight monetary situations, Payday.net aids them in their search for loan lenders. The site’s extensive lender network allows consumers to pick and choose a loan lender contract that works in their best interests.

Filing out an application on Payday.net is a quick and easy process, and once an applicant is approved for a loan and subsequently signs a loan contract, the funds are transferred directly into their checking account by their lender in a swift and secure manner. This is advantageous to consumers who need the emergency funds as soon as possible. Payday.net advises consumers to first investigate the site’s wealth of information concerning cash advances before skipping ahead to the application process. Prospective borrowers can access various educational pieces from the site’s homepage and gain extensive knowledge. In addition to being able to learn about lending polices from the newest article, consumers can read about eligibility requirements, loan rates and fees, and the repayment process, among other topics.

Pennington, NJ (PRWEB) January 22, 2012

PD-LD, Inc. is pleased to formally announce the introduction of the company’s new LabSource series of benchtop laser sources. Two models are at present accessible. The 1st, the LS-1, attributes a single Volume Bragg Grating®-stabilized laser source and the second, the LS-two, attributes dual laser sources that enable it to execute a assortment of distinctive tasks, e.g., dual wavelength light therapy, specialized analytics, etc.

These modules supply a handy, customizable solution at a manageable price tag point. “The modules supply an outstanding performance to cost ratio and a variety of wavelength alternatives, extending their prospective applications beyond spectral evaluation,” said PD-LD CEO Vladimir Ban. Each the LS-1 and LS-2 include integrated drive circuitry and computer software, generating them simply integrated with existing laboratory instruments, and with user-friendly interface and ergonomic style, they offer you rapid set up and ease of use.

“Our style team paid distinct attention to the feedback and input received from our client base and marketplace study in producing this unprecedented instrument” said PD-LD president Uri Abrams. “LabSource has created a quantum leap in design, functionality and the sort of user interfaces supplied as common, far surpassing any comparable products presently obtainable on the market place.” Abrams continued, “ The LS2 model is particularly developed to enable the application of SERDS techniques outlined in our most recent US patent number 7,982,869. We are extremely optimistic about the close to term prospects this new product line gives towards our growth. We already have many units in the market place and our operations group is diligently working on fulfilling the increasing demand for these units.”

The LS-1 contains a single stabilized laser source, although the LS-two functions two closely-spaced dual laser sources –in lieu of a single source – which enables it to positively identify a far wider range of substances. Most notably, it can analyze and determine fluorescent substances that have previously proven challenging or impossible to determine or analyze by way of classic single-source Raman spectroscopy. The underlying dual-source technique, recognized as Shifted Excitation Raman Differential Spectroscopy, or SERDS, represents a significant development in the capabilities of Raman spectroscopy, particularly in field-based settings or in the analysis of natural and/or biological samples.

The LabSource modules are a major new development in PD-LD’s VBG®-based item line “These modules represent the very first completely turnkey VBG®-stabilized products to be offered in the marketplace. Senate Introduces Bill To Track Implant Failure Rates

New York, NY (PRWEB) December 16, 2011

Bernstein Liebhard LLP reports that on December 14, 2011, new legislation was introduced in the Senate that would demand medical device producers to track the efficiency of implants.* The bill would permit the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) to compel producers to track implants after they are approved for sale. At present, medical device producers can bypass rigorous premarket testing and FDA inspection by utilizing the 510(k) approach. In order to receive industry clearance, producers are only required to show that a new item is “substantially similar” to a product already on the market place. In August 2010, DePuy Orthopaedics, a division of Johnson &amp Johnson, issued a worldwide recall of its ASR metal-on-metal hip implants. 37,000 Americans received the DePuy ASR hip implants, which had been approved by means of the 510(k) technique. Richard Blumenthal, one of 3 senators sponsoring the bill, said that the metal-on-metal hip implants are a “classic example” of why elevated monitoring is required. “There is clearly a need for scrutiny once goods are implanted or used on patients,” he stated. Considering that the ASR hip recall, the 510(k) procedure has been the subject of widespread criticism. In July, the Institute of Medicine urged the FDA abandon the 510(k) approach, saying that it failed to protect patient safety.** Senator Herb Kohl, who also sponsored the bill, mentioned, “Faulty medical devices, especially those implanted in the physique, can have disastrous wellness impacts on patients . . . This legislation will aid ensure that FDA can act speedily and decisively when there’s a difficulty and that the drive toward acquiring new technologies to industry won’t come at the danger of patient safety.”

Senators Seek Data About DePuy Hip Implants And Vaginal Mesh Items

In addition to the legislative proposal, the senators sent letters to five of the largest medical device manufacturers requesting documents on how they track product safety and recall devices. Johnson &amp Johnson, manufacturer of each the DePuy Pinnacle hip replacement implants and the recalled DePuy ASR hip replacement implants, and C.R. Bard., the manufacturer of vaginal mesh, had been two of the organizations contacted. The senators also want to know when Johnson &amp Johnson first learned that the ASR hips were failing and how it tracked problems when they were reported.

The lawyers at Bernstein Liebhard LLP are actively filing cases on behalf of individuals allegedly injured by both artificial hip and vaginal mesh implants in the following actions: In re: DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. Pinnacle Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation (“MDL No. 2244”), which is presently underway in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas In re: DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. ASR Hip Implant Merchandise Liability Litigation (“MDL No. 2197”), which is at present underway in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and In re Pelvic Mesh/Gynecare Litigation (No. 006339-10 (NJ. Super. Ct.)), which is presently underway in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
