A band with 3 leads that play/sing/write, who attracted 110,000+ fans including many from multiple countries to their “last” concert, played 3 sold out shows at MSG, who give much support to multiple charities, and all this as an independent band with no radio or major corporate promotion? Thats just insane, they are making history. I am so glad they are back together!
@axjtjf *shrugs*… okay. i’m having a hard time believing that they are amazing instrumentalists, judging by the weak playing on the original recording (which I like a LOT, by the way) and THIS performance. i’ve been in bands with turmoil… you still play tight.
dunno… don’t really care. i’ll check it out, i guess.. i think our standards might be different, though. I’m not impressed, is all.
thnx for the background info, though. i wasn’t aware of that.
@somebodyjones2 Man.. You need to check out some other Dispatch stuff. This is not a good example of them. They literally broke up right after this performance. Tensions were running high. They are amazing instrumentalists.
its very rare you find a band that sounds better live than their studio recording
chad…. i love you.
@maxcady5 remember the make up that usually is there too.. got to respect that as well!
Matt Stone sure can rock!
Check out my acoustic cover of “Out Loud” by Dispatch and please ‘like’ it if you dig it! Thank You
I liked the acoustic version better
Dispatch IS the best band on the earth! Do you know how long I’ve been waiting to say IS instead of WAS?
There’s no words man, no words.
check out sculptured air.

i think that bass player might have a.d.d.
@dmbdispatch14
I say, guitar prodigy, is that you?
@maxcady5 — that’s great, except this performance was 10 years ago, when more bands were dressing in plain clothes.

@cartervail Justing Bieber, Aventura (kings of bachata), Britney Spears… all of them sold out MSG.
All great musicians.
You make smart points.
They’re shitty players. Why can’t you just accept it? They’re really, really BAD players..
@somebodyjones2
You know you’re probably right. I mean, only terrible musicians sell out MSG, right?
@cartervail nope, but thanks for playing.
